EDIT: I got rid of gears also I don't like its multi player I did the same with gears 1. Too slow and the shooting is strange kind of like Killzone 2.

Never seen such over-exaggeration. Looks PS2-ish visually and sort of slow as if the devs got caught up trying to show off the gameplay mechanics and lost their way. I won't be buying it.

IMO we'll hear about a different Halo game before Gears 3.

No one is doubting Halo I buy every Halo game. I'm well aware of Halo's appeal.
Some of these games are currently slated for 2010 and with E3 coming things can change, some of these games slated for 2010 can end up releasing this year making a surprise release date this year. Some other huge titles can be announced at E3 that could put some of these games in the back of the hype bus. Thats all I meant.

Folks are getting desperate as they learn MS will have a blockbuster year and lists that were waved around early will shrink.
When your favorite console is under threat its easy to support this rubbish.
DVD is no excuse nor is the 360 supposedly being maxed out is also a weak cornered excuse to support this.
At least they're giving themselves bigger windows pushing these supposed turn arounds back even further each time they say this.
They sense or know some of MSFT's E3 and are facing their own offerings.
